With Carnival coming to a close here in Germany I bought some special Krapfen (german Donuts) for me and my colleague to ring out the week yesterday. This one is a Germknödel Krapfen, based on the - austrian I think? - Dessert: It’s covered with poppy seeds and powdered sugar, the core is vanilla cream and in the middle is plum marmalade. These little things of deliciousness are the one thing I look forward to every carnival season😋
